Condor Bush Knife

Another unique design of world-renowned, award winning designer "Arlan D. Lothe" .. The design concept comes from ancient tools used in the South of Europe for generations, both on the farm and in the sporting fields. To this day a smaller version of this multi-functional tool is used by the Italian Boy Scouts; it is simply called the "Scout Knife". The long straight blade can be used as a knife, hatchet, axe or clever. The hooked edge can be used as a brush hook and scythe for cutting many materials in and around a campsite. With an over all length of 14 1/2", the hook is 2 1/2" long and the straight edge is 6 1/4" long, and the weight is only 1 .35 pounds. All edges are concave shaped for greater strength and edge retention. The edges are hand ground and buffed to razor sharpness. The blade is fast, light and well balanced. 2 mm 420HC Stainless Steel heat treated and tempered to about 53 Rockwell.
Available in Blasted Satin finish or Black Oxide Coating.
The oxide coating is cooked into the metal at 2850 degrees F. This finish meets and exceeds several military specifications from the U.S. and other countries around the world.
